Why shipping needed this.
Shipping quotes were built for freight desks: weight tiers, cubic weight, fuel surcharges, zone maps. A ceramicist in Geelong doesn’t need a rate card — they need to tell a customer what delivery costs before the sale, and have it be true. So we removed the card. What’s left is a number small enough to remember and honest enough to print on a product page.
How one price works.

One price for every parcel
$10 AUD for any parcel up to 5 kg, to any address in Australia — every state and territory. The envelope and the 5 kg box cost the same; so do the short trip and the long one.

Shipped on the Australia Post network
Every parcel goes as a tracked Australia Post parcel. Drop it off at any Australia Post outlet, and tracking is included.

Nothing else to pay for
No monthly fee, no contract. You pay for the labels you print, and that’s it.
We don’t run trucks.
Joey Ship is headquartered in Sydney, NSW. Delivery runs on the Australia Post network — every parcel ships as a tracked Australia Post parcel. We changed the price, not the delivery.
